NW Essex Labour For a fairer, greener Essex
Help Issy Unseat Kemi!
The latest Survation MRP poll (released on 3rd June 2024) has Labour just 2% behind the Conservatives in this constituency. With a donation to our election fighting fund, you could help us close that gap – and show Kemi Badenoch that kindness wins in the end.
In every town and village I visit across North West Essex, a majority of people tell me they want change. They are tired of hearing this Conservative Government saying things are getting better when it simply doesn’t fit with their experience.
Most people know wages are not keeping up with food, energy and housing costs; and taxes are at a post-war high, while critical public services are at breaking point, with long waiting lists and buildings at risk of collapse. It’s time to do something about it.
I’m looking forward to meeting as many of you as I can and I want you to get to know me. I’ve moved into the constituency and, with your help, I’ll make it my home. I grew up in rural Suffolk and I know what strong, close-knit communities can achieve. I’ve raised money to restore a castle, saved key public services and led water sports for kids.
I’ll work constructively with local councillors. And I’ll serve you with a kinder, gentler politics that reflect the values of local people.
I’m asking you to make change happen by voting for me. My promise to you is that I’ll be here to listen to you, support you in Parliament, and work hard to build a better future.
Conservative MP, Kemi Badenoch, has been independently ranked as one of the country’s worst constituency MPs behind 498 others. She takes local support for granted – her ambition to become party leader will always come first.
If you have no faith in Ms Badenoch, and you have had quite enough of this Conservative government, then your best chance is to vote for Labour.
I’m holding regular online public meetings over the weeks ahead and would love to hear from you.
Please do join one of these events by emailing me for information.
